Qin Dynasty

The Qin Dynasty was formed after it conquered the six other states during the Warring States period. The Qin Dynasty was the first imperial dynasty of China. It lasted from 221-206 BC. The Qin Dynasty Qin sought to have a unified state under a highly structured political power and a stable economy. The Government sough to minimize the roles of aristocrats and landowners allowing them direct power over the peasants which made up the large population of the Qin Dynasty. This allowed for the Qin Dynasty to take on ambitious projects, such as the Great Wall of China. Despite its military strength after the first emperor died his son was seated on the thrown. However his previous advisors wanted to control the empire through him leading to conflicts and its eventual collapse.
