The subclass of Agnatha that includes the jawless vertebrates with a single median nostril, as opposed to the subclass Pteraspidomorpha, in which there are paired nostrils. The Cephalaspidomorpha includes the orders Osteostraci, Galeaspida, Petromyzontida, and Anaspida.
