The Meritxell Church
The church of Meritxell is originally a Romanesque construction that transformed during the Baroque period. The church consisted of a single-circular apse towards east, while the Romanesque west integrated into the Baroque construction and the foundations for apse are still visible.
It is a permanent building for exhibition that was built as a memorable of Meritxell and it was inaugurated following the restoration of old sanctuary in1994, and its offers insight for history and devotion of the patron saint of Andorra.
