Rod is the creator of all life and of existence itself. He is everything that exists. He is born out of himself. At first, there was only darkness, and rod was trapped in an egg. When he gave life to the goddess of love, Lada, the shell broke and through its cracks love went out (similar to the theory of the Big Bang). After creating the ocean, the earth and everything that exists, he created the gods.
