Petrificus Totalus
The Full Body-Bind Curse. It was first mentioned in the books when Hermione use it to prevent Neville from stopping her, Harry, and Ron from leaving the common room. This charm is used to temporarily bind the target's body into a position that matches that of a soldier at attention. Usually, the target will fall to the ground. It came from the Latin words "petra" (stone), "factus" (past participle "fieri," to become) and "totus" (complete).
