Organic plastics
The term organic plastics refer to those substances that decay or decompose naturally through bacterial action or get dissolved with ground water in some way or another. The conventional plastics made from crude oil do not decay or decompose. The organic plastics made from potato starch, cereals or maize are biodegradable. These sorts of plastics production requiring expensive processes. The latest product of such type is a bioplastic named polyhydroxybutyrate [PHB]. PHB is produced by bacteria fed with glucose or sugar.
