PKB (Partai Kebangkitan Bangsa), founded in 1998, is a middle/right oriented moderate islamic and conservative political party. PKB is one of the biggest islamic party in Indonesia, and was famous because of their close connection with the islamic organization Nahdlatul Ulama (NU). The party mostly support the prosperity of the people living in villages, such as farmers and fishermen and the development of these regions.
