The light enters thru Iris is collected by Lens to Focus on the Retina at the back of eye. It is too operates by muscular control in coordination with the Iris. The movement is complex. The movement compensates for distance and also adjusts so that the images in both eyes merge together as one . the lens is too sensitive to different wavelengths of light and flattens out or becomes concave to deal with them.
