Stéphane Charbonnier, known as "Charb", was the editor-in-chief of the French newspaper Charlie Hebdo from 2009 to the time of his death in a terror attack on January 7, 2015. He was known for his controversial and provocative illustrations and caricatures and was on Al-Qaeda's most-wanted list in 2013.
