• Removes and replaces charts, adjusts recording pen and refills pen with ink, and winds clock springs on mechanical models.
• Records chart readings and time and date of chart removal.
• Repairs and adjusts instruments, using handtools.
• May compare recordings, compute and record average readings, and report discrepancies for use in interpretation of chart data.
