It is a West Africas kaftan, worn by men, and recently women. Much like the dashiki, it is a long loose wide sleeved robe. As formal wear, its decorated with intricate embroidery, it is worn on special occassions. Its has 3 pieces: draw stringed pants, long sleeve shirt, and a gown, all the same colour.
