Bugbear

A bugbear is a massive humanoid distantly related to goblins and hobgoblins. They resemble hairy, feral goblins standing around 7 feet (2.1 meters) tall. They also have exceptional senses of smell, sight, and hearing, can see in pitch darkness and move with amazing stealth. All these characteristics make them perfect for hunting and ambushing, positions they normally take in goblinoids armies, however, if necessary, they are capable of attaining leadership positions. Outside goblins war camps they usually live a life based around survival, as hunters-gatherers in small tribes or going on to become mercenaries. Bugbears are found throughout the Flanaess, from the Land of Black Ice to Hepmonaland. They are relatively common in the Bone March, the Pomarj, the Thillonrian Peninsula, and the Dreadwood as they prefer caves and other underground locations.
